A place to encounter the hands behind the work. El Mercado with G Benincasa Estética is taking shape as an outdoor marketplace for makers, artists and personal gifts at First House in historic downtown Morrison.
Before you make the trip
A working fit study is complete. Following the Town’s October 22 response, the application, site plan and remaining operating details are being prepared for review. Public opening dates and hours are not confirmed.
When a market day is ready to welcome visitors, its dates, makers and practical arrival information will appear together in the Calendar. Check that information before travelling.
Find the place
The planned address is 120 Bear Creek Avenue, Morrison, Colorado 80465. The visitor entrance and walking route will be shown with confirmed event details. Please keep tenant stairs, private doors and storage areas clear.
Access, with useful detail
The market is planned outdoors. The working layout reserves circulation, while actual surfaces, slopes, route widths, seating and restroom arrangements still need local verification.
Owner permission includes ground-level workshop, storage and operational support. Public basement activity and the complete visitor route need separate confirmation. Ask Joseph about a specific access need before planning a visit; medical details are not required.
Weather and changes
Weather is part of an outdoor day. Once dates are confirmed, each occurrence will carry its current status and any change to hours. Keep the same event link for a cancellation, early close or rescheduled date.
Food and drink
Food and nonalcoholic beverage participation remains under review with the actual operating scope. Confirmed offerings will be listed with their market date. No alcohol service is proposed.
A closer look at the work
A small source-and-object display is being developed for First House: one material example, the maker's account of the work and a readable provenance card. The display will take its place within the confirmed visitor layout when its location and access are ready.
